Minor earthquake shakes Andaman region

A slight intensity earthquake epicentred in the Andaman Sea shook the region on Sunday afternoon, the Met Department said.

The tremor was recorded at 1.25 p.m. and was measured 4.7 on the Richter Scale.

The quake’s epicentre was in the Andaman Sea.
