June 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - NEW DELHI:

A minor girl has alleged that she was abducted in East Delhi and gang-raped for two days by three men, including one she had befriended on a social networking website.

She further alleged that the perpetrators tried to sell her off, but she managed to escape and approach the police.

A senior police officer said that the girl had only alleged kidnapping when she first approached the police on June 21.

Two of the three suspects were nabbed soon after her complaint.

However, the girl on Saturday alleged that they had raped her after kidnapping and taking her to a flat in Noida.

“We are investigating these new allegations. We will add the sections pertaining to rape after our probe,” said the officer. A little over 17 years old, the victim is a Class XII student and lives with her parents in Mandawali. She had befriended Sameer on Facebook sometime ago.

She said that she was out in the market to recharge her mobile phone on June 21 when Sameer phoned her and asked her to meet him. She found Sameer and two of his friends in a car.

“They asked me to get in, but I refused. Sameer then offered me water, which I drank and fell unconscious,” the masked girl told reporters.

When she regained consciousness, she found herself in a semi-naked state at a flat in an unknown location.

She alleged that Sameer and his friends had raped her.

“Sameer called one of his friends two days later to find out if my family was searching for me. When he learnt that my family had approached the police, he panicked,” she alleged.

Sameer then hurriedly called up someone and decided to sell the girl.

“He was to sell me to someone in Agra for Rs. 5.5 lakh,” she added. The girl, however, managed to call her father and escape.
