Some 150 passengers and crew members of an Indigo flight had a narrow escape as it was forced to return to the Vadodara airport after a bird hit during takeoff on Wednesday. Among the passengers on board the Vadodara-Delhi flight was Minister of State for Railways Bharatsinh Solanki. Airport sources claimed that there was no damage to the aircraft and the pilot safely brought it back to the airport. But the flight was cancelled after air pressure in the tyres was found to be low, and the stranded passengers were sent by another flight to Delhi later in the evening.
