Hangman Mammu Jallad, who had offered to hang Ajmal Kasab, died here on Friday after a prolonged illness.
Kasab, a Pakistani terrorist, was involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
Mammu, who was working as a state hangman for the last 47 years, is survived by four sons and three daughters.

He had long been suffering from asthma, his family said.
