Goa CM to focus on essential services in rural areas

Inaugurating the two-day Ravindra Mahotsav at Sankhali in north Goa on Saturday, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said his government will lay special emphasis on essential services, quality education, standard health services in rural areas and encouragement to art and culture.

The government will take all efforts to provide better infrastructure in rural areas of the State, but appealed to the people to keep all the roads in the State clear and not to obstruct widening of roads by building illegal constructions at the roadsides, Mr. Parsekar said.
