Moderate to heavy rains that lashed most places of Uttarakhand on Tuesday triggered fresh landslips, cloudbursts and house collapses across the State.
A road leading to a school was damaged in a cloudburst at Gadoli in Pauri district, where intermittent rains affected life, officials said.
Incessant rains in Chamoli district overnight caused fresh landslips at a number of places. Several houses were hit by mud and slush brought over by the landslides at Gauchar. Cracks have appeared in 14 houses at Deosari, forcing their occupants to take shelter at nearby.
