Eight Maoists, including a woman, were arrested from Bashathpur village in Bihar’s Naxal-hit Sheohar district, a senior police official said on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force of Bihar police from Sheohar and Motihari raided the village where the maoists had assembled last night and arrested them, Sub-Divisional Police Officer S M Vakil Ahmed said.
Those arrested were allegedly involved in several operations carried out by the Maoists in Sheohar and East Champaran districts, Mr. Ahmed added.
