Court refuses to stay Shakti mills gang-rape trial

The Bombay High Court on Friday refused to stay the trial in the Shakti mills gang-rape case. The case is being heard by a fast-track court here.

Three accused in the case approached the High Court recently seeking transfer of trial to another judge, in the interest of free trial. They expressed lack of faith in the judge who is conducting trial in the fast-track court.
