A trainer helicopter crashed in Rae Bareli on Tuesday after its blades got entangled with high tension electric wire, seriously injuring the pilot, police said.
The chopper belonging to Indira Gandhi National Aviation Academy at Fursatganj crashed after its blades hit the high tension electric line passing from NTPC to Rae Bareli near Ekchaniha under Jagatpur police station area.
The injured pilot has been rushed to district hospital, police said.
