Cong. will form govt. in Gujarat, says Lalu

Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad on Sunday asserted that the Congress would form a government in Gujarat as people had voted heavily in its favour in the first phase of polls, which recorded a 68% turnout. “People have voted in large numbers in favour of the Congress in Gujarat [in the first phase of polls]. It will form the government there,” Mr. Prasad told presspersons here.
