Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has sent a legal notice to BJP leader Kirit Somaiya demanding an apology for the allegations he made at a recent press conference.
The Nationalist Congress Party leader said he would file a criminal suit and demand compensation worth Rs. 100 crore if an apology is not forthcoming.
In a press statement, Mr. Bhujbal denied that there was any wrong-doing involved in contracts awarded by his department as alleged by Mr. Somaiya.
