Boy mauled to death by leopards

A 10-year-old boy was mauled to death by two leopards in an orchard in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said on Wednesday.

Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, was playing in an apple orchard near his Watergam-Kreeri house, 35 km from here, when he was attacked by the leopards on Tuesday evening, a police spokesman said.

He said the boy died in the attack, while the big cats fled to the nearby forest following the hue and cry raised by the villagers.
