Even as a 20-member team of the CBI began its probe into the alleged gang rape and murder of two minor cousins in Katra Saadatganj village in Badaun district on May 27, another incident of alleged gang rape was reported from the district on Saturday.

A 38-year-old woman and mother of two was allegedly gang-raped by three, including the son of a constable posted in a Western U.P. district. The victim lodged a complaint at the Bisauli police station on Saturday.

Badaun Senior Superintendent of Police L.R. Kumar said no arrests had been made so far but police teams were formed to trace the accused.

Mr. Kumar said the woman in her complaint alleged that she was taken to a room by the three men on Friday night on the pretext of showing her the place for rented accommodation.

She said she knew two of the accused and hence agreed to go with them. Once in the room, she was allegedly raped by the three men. Her husband is said to be in jail for the last three years.

An FIR has been registered against three persons at Bisauli police station.
