Suspected LeT member arrested in J&K

A suspected member of Pakistan - based Lashker-e-Taiba militant outfit was arrested and four grenades seized from his possession in Kupwara district today.

Ghulam Qadir Mir, a resident of Bawan, was arrested by a joint party of police and 21 Rashtriya Rifles during vehicle checking at village Bakhi Hakar in Handwara, 80 km from here, a police spokesman said.

He said four Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades and 22 rounds of AK ammunition were recovered from Mir’s possession.
