Cancellation of all evening SpiceJet flights at the Dabolim airport, south Goa, on Tuesday, left hundreds of passengers stranded, leading to a near chaos at the airport by evening.

Police Inspector S.Y.N. Gaonkar of Goa police stationed at the Airport told The Hindu that around 500-600 passengers were stranded at the airport by 6.30 pm and officials of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) were in touch with SpiceJet management to arrange for alternative flights for the stranded passengers.
