On a day BJP president Amit Shah arrived here, the Shiv Sena kept up pressure on its ally through a show of strength at its headquarters, the Shiv Sena Bhavan, on Wednesday.
However, it kept the door open for an alliance with the BJP.
“We expect a decision in the next two days. Talks are on between national leaders,” said Sena MP Sanjay Raut. However, the Sena is unwilling to give up its claim to the Chief Minister’s post.

“The Chief Ministerial candidate will be from the Shiv Sena,” Mr. Raut said.
