Militants attack police station in J&K

Militants attacked the Sopore police station in Baramulla district today, killing a policeman.

Head constable Mohammad Yousuf was entering the police station at 10:45 am when heavily—armed ultras opened fire, Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir, Abdul Qayoom Manhas told PTI.

He said the policemen retaliated and exchange of fire between militants and police was going on.
