A man was arrested in Nasik for allegedly making a prank call to Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan’s official bungalow, police said today.
The man identified as Abdulla Shah (32) was arrested on Saturday by Anti Terrorist Squad and Nasik Road railway police after the call was traced, they said.
Shah, a resident of Malegaon, is alleged to have made a call to Chief Minister’s official residence ‘Varsha’ on Friday claiming to be an Al-Qaeda member and asked for whereabouts of Chavan.

He was arrested from Dwarka area here, they said.
Eight SIM cards were also recovered from Abdulla, they said. When produced before a local court he was remanded in five-days police custody.
