The team that visited Netai held a meeting with the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police at Jhargram's sub-divisional office earlier in the day on the law and order situation in the region and the actions taken by the administration.

Representatives of the Trinamool Congress, the Congress and the Socialist Unity Centre of India met the members at the SDO office and submitted deputations alleging terror perpetrated by Communist Party of India (Marxist) cadres.

The CPI (M) did not send its representative and party's district leadership pointed out that it will not meet the team members unless invited for a meeting or discussion.
