Accused absconding

According to Circle Officer, Khatauli, Jogender Lal, a case was registered under section 376D and 506 of the Indian Penal Code against the two absconding accused. “The accused allegedly were blackmailing her since the time they raped her the first time. They circulated the clip on social media on Saturday. We have apprehended two more men who are said to be associated with the two accused,” Mr. Lal told the media on Sunday.

The victim in Khatauli recorded her statement under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code before a magistrate.

She was accompanied by local BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders when she went to the local magistrate and hospital.
