Malicious campaign, says Shoma

Rejecting allegations that she was involved in publicly ‘shaming’ the Tehelka journalist who filed a complaint against Tarun Tejpal, the Managing Editor of the magazine, Shoma Chaudhary, made a public statement on it.

The short statement, released through the official Tehelka Twitter handle in three parts, read, “I strongly reject the allegations in the media that I am involved in any manner with any slander, intimidation or character assassination of the complainant journalist. This is a malicious campaign that has no basis in truth.”
