A youth was killed on-the-spot as he was knocked down from the motorcycle, which he was riding, by a canter on the outskirts of Bangarpet town on Sunday morning.
Police gave the name of the victim as Sudhakar (24), a resident of Vadagur in Kolar taluk.
The driver of the goods vehicle sped the spot after the accident.
