Students and staff of from KLE University’s Institute of Nursing Sciences conducted a workshop on first aid for the aviation-security staff at the Sambra Airport here on Thursday. The objective was to reorient the airport staff on first-aid services to the passengers. Around 56 members of the staff participated. Avinash Mandolkar, supervisor, fire services, and Rajeshwari B., Director, Airports Authority of India, inaugurated it. Ashok K., assistant professor of the institute, spoke on ‘Golden rules of first aid’.
