The survey of wakf properties across the State as mandated by the Central Wakf Act will be over by October 30, according to Minister for Municipal Administration and Wakf Qamarul Islam.

All properties will be given a khata and the names will be gazetted, after which wakf institutions could take up development activities for the welfare of Muslim community, he said.
