The district administration has decided to organise a two-day Jalapatotsava at Bharachukki falls in Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar district on August 10 and 11.

The decision was taken on Friday at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner M.V. Savithri.

She said that the original glory of the falls had been restored thanks to copious rainfall as well as the release of water from the Kabini dam.
