Two killed in accident

Two persons died on-the-spot and three suffered serious injuries when a car hit a tipper truck parked roadside near Shantigrama in Hassan taluk on Monday night.

The deceased have been identified as Malatesh (32), resident of Laggere in Bengaluru and Chiranjeevi, native of Hyderabad. The injured are Rajesh, Satish and Sukarna.

Chiranjeevi and the injured persons were all working as assistant cameramen for Kannada movie '

Shiradi Ghat '. Shooting of the movie has been going on near Sakaleshpur for last one week. They were on the way to Bengaluru after completing shooting on Monday. Malatesh was driving the car.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru. Shantigrama police have registered the case.
