If there are any complaints from the people, action will be initiated, she warned the officials. She took the stock of the drinking water situation in Surpur, Shahapur and Yadgir taluks and called a preliminary meeting with the officials of taluk and gram panchayats, Panchayat Development Officers, elected representatives and other officials of related departments to review the situation. In Surpur, the meeting would be held on February 13, in Shahapur, on February 14, and in Yadgir on February 15.

The DC asked the officials of Animal Husbandry Department to ensure that three fodder banks were established in each taluk of the district that stocked 100 metric ton of fodder for 15 days. She added that there was no need to establish fodder banks but supply fodder if there was a demand.
