“Youngsters should start thinking about pursuing pure science as a career option,” said journalist Chakravarthy Sulibele here on Saturday.
He was speaking at the valedictory of five-day residential Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) internship programme organised by the School of Life Sciences (SLS), Manipal University, here.

Mr. Sulibele urged the students to “look within” and be inspired to understand and pursue the scientific questions that pervade people’s everyday life.
He wanted the youth to think of resolving such pertinent issues such as renewability of resources and energy consumption.
Vinod Thomas, Director of Manipal Institute of Technology, welcomed the gathering. K.K. Mahato proposed a vote of thanks.
