Students of RMSD in Mysuru make their school proud

Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Differently-Abled (RMSD) achieved a percentage of 93.33 in the SSLC results. Lakshmi N.S. has topped the list with 88%.

Out of the 15 students who had appeared for the SSLC examination from the school, three secured an average of more than 80% and 11 of them achieved A, B and B+.

The school, which operates under ‘Child centric project’ supported by Department of the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, is a completely free residential school from Standard I to X for visually impaired girls.

The success has given the children confidence and boosted their willpower to do even better in future. They all are keen on continuing their education and are aspiring to build careers in academics.

Commenting on her achievement, Lakshmi, the school topper said, “I am a proud student. It would have been impossible to reach this height without the school’s support. I would also like to encourage others to ensure that their girl child gets education. I am looking forward to taking my education forward and embracing a career of my choice.”

“We wish the students all the very best for their future and extend our heartiest support in every possible way,” said R. Guru, chairman, N.R. Group, which runs the school.
