South Eastern Railway to augment trains to clear extra rush

The South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to temporarily augment train nos. 12245/12246 Howrah-Yeshwantpur-Howrah Duronto Express and train nos. 12889/12890 Tata-Yeshwantpur-Tata Weekly Express for clearance of extra rush during December, a release said.

The Howrah-Yeshwantpur Duronto Express will run with one additional 3-tier AC coach on December 1, 4, 6, 8, 10, 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 22, 25, 27, 29 and 31. One additional second-class sleeper coach will also be attached to the same train on December 3, 7, 11, 15, 20, 24 and 28.

On its return run, the express will have one additional 3-tier AC coach on December 3, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 29, 30 and January 2, 2014. One additional second-class sleeper coach will also be attached on December 6, 10, 15, 19, 23, 27 and 31.

Similarly, the Tata-Yeshwantpur Weekly Express will run with one additional 3-tier AC coach on Fridays with effect from December 6 to January 3, 2014. In the return direction, the train will have an additional 3-tier AC coach on Mondays, with effect from December 9 to January 6, 2014.
