While devotees and workers at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam are leaving the premises, many anxious parents are visiting the ashram in search of their children.
It is said that a large number of devotees had left home and were staying in the ashram against the wishes of their parents.
On Tuesday, seven people, mostly from Tamil Nadu, visited the Dhyanapeetam looking for their children. Many of them alleged that Nithyananda had kept their children captive in his ashram.

Radhakrishna of Dindigul in Tamil Nadu was seen standing in front of the main entrance to the ashram holding his son Rajesh's photograph. Rajesh was working as a software engineer and earning Rs. 35,000 per month.
But Nithyananda had brainwashed him and forcibly kept him with him since 2009, Radhakrishna said. According to Radhakrishna, his son was renamed ‘Mahatheerthananda' by the ashramites.
On Tuesday too a few devotees and employees left the ashram premises. As many as 15 have left the Dhyanapeetam since Monday evening, Anupam Agarwal, Ramanagaram Superintendent of Police told

They include a few foreign nationals and workers, Mr. Agarwal said. Besides checking baggage, the police are recording the names and other details of the people who wish to leave the premises.
