Sadananda Gowda, Yeddyurappa meet Gadkari

Karnataka Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda and his immediate predecessor B.S. Yeddyurrappa landed in the city and held talks with the BJP National president Nitin Gadkari at his residence here.

Mr. Gowda and Mr. Yeddyurappa flew here by a special flight and then drove straight to Mr. Gadkari’s residence to hold a closed-door meeting.

They were accompanied by Karnataka Party General Secretary Dharmendra Pradhan, Joint Organising Secretary V. Satish and Organising Secretary Santosh.

Top Karnataka leaders meeting with Mr. Gadkari has assumed significance in the wake of CBI arrests of party stalwart and former Minister Janaradhan Reddy and B.V. Srinivas Reddy in connection with the alleged illegal mining.
