A total of 1,422 candidates will be appearing the entrance examination for various Ph.D. programmes offered by the Rani Channamma University. Examinations will be conducted on March 28 and 29, 2015
The Registrar (Evaluation) has asked all the Deans and heads of the departments in Belagavi, Vijayapura and Bagalkot districts (under RCU jurisdiction) to inform all the candidates on or before March 20 about the schedule of the entrance examination.
The Ph.D entrance test will be conducted in the 16 disciplines - Education (126 candidates), Computer Science (106), Mathematics (92), Sociology (79), Physics (63), Chemistry (85), Kannada (175), Political Science (168), MBA (86), Marathi (6), Criminology (5), Master of Social Work (47), Commerce (197), Library & Information Science (33), Economics (92) and English (162).
