A 55-year-old railway employee was killed and another seriously injured when the scooter they were riding collided with an autorikshaw in Nagarabhavi on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Jagannath Rao, who was riding pillion, and the injured Nishanath Rao is receiving treatment at a private hospital.
According to the police, the two persons were returning home from a new year party held at their relatives house.

Passersby rushed them to a nearby hospital where Mr. Jagannatha was declared brought dead.
