Mysore Grahakara Parishat says it will raise the issue with the authorities concerned

The Mysore Grahakara Parishat has urged the public to identify and highlight the problems being faced by them regarding the services of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) so that the issue could be taken up with the authorities.

In a release, the parishat said that over the years, the KSRTC has introduced additional services by way of more routes, additional buses, high-tech bus shelters, electronic display of routes and timings at bus shelters, etc., which are to be commended.

“But passengers in Mysore are facing difficulties, including buses not adhering to schedules or not stopping at designated stops; making halts at unscheduled places; too many buses on some routes and too few on others; inconvenient timings; ‘rude behaviour’ of the staff; rushing through signals, and conductors not carrying enough small change, especially in the early hours of the day,” said the release.

Hence, the parishat wants to take up these issues with the KSRTC. It has invited the people to write about their problems vis-à-vis KSRTC to the parishat at 6/1, Vivekananda Road, Yadavagiri, Mysore 570 020. Call Ph. 2515150 for details.

Those who wish to send their complaints via e-mail can write to mygrapa@gmail.com. Letters and e-mails should reach before July 31, the release added.
