The Bharatiya Janata Party’s rally at the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Stadium here on Tuesday attracted an unprecedented crowd, with people thronging the venue to get a glimpse of Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan, chief of the Jana Sena Party.

The crowd, however, turned impatient as the actor was two hours behind schedule.

Most of the people, particularly the youth, arrived at the venue just to see the actor and click his snap. Many in the crowd, including volunteers, jostled with one another to go near the podium. The police and security personnel had a tough time controlling the crowd.
