Other southern States to get a taste of GoodLife

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which is looking to expand its market, has launched Nandini GoodLife, ultra heat treated (UHT) milk, in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

Brand ambassador

It has also appointed actor Shriya Saran as its brand ambassador for the southern market.

Announcing the launch here on Tuesday, KMF Managing Director A.S. Premnath said that dealers to market GoodLife milk had been appointed.

He said that Kannada actors Puneeth Rajkumar and Ragini would continue to be brand ambassadors for KMF products in Karnataka.

Currently, about 3.5 lakh litres of GoodLife milk is being sold every day.

Milk procurement

On milk procurement by the KMF, Mr. Premnath said that currently the federation was procuring 55 lakh kg per day and there were plans to increase it to 60 lakh kg a day by the end of the year.

While 35 lakh litres of milk was being sold, around 25 lakh litres was left unsold for which a market had to be created, he said.

Additional Chief Secretary V. Umesh and KMF Director (Marketing) Ravikumar Kakade were present.
