‘Not my answer script…’

May 31, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:05 am IST - Hassan:

Pyarel Fernandes, a II PU student from Sakleshpur, had applied for photocopies of answer scripts and the Department of Pre-University Education has sent her a photocopy of somebody else’s answer script. The student is now worried as the time to apply for either re-totalling or re-evaluation is short.

Pyarel, a student of St. Aloysius PU College in Mangaluru, had applied for photocopies of chemistry, physics and biology papers as she was sure of securing more marks than what she had got. So far, the department has sent her photocopy of physics paper alone and that too a wrong one. Instead of her paper (bearing register number 230929), the department sent her the paper of another student with the register number 231212.

Pyarel had secured 91 in physics, 81 in chemistry, 74 in mathematics and 89 in biology. She has already applied for re-evaluation of the mathematics paper. She had sought photocopies of the three others to check once before applying for re-evaluation. The last day to apply for re-totalling and re-evaluation is June 3.
