Mysuru City Police celebrate silver jubilee of its commissionerate

Mysuru City Police on Saturday celebrated the silver jubilee of its Commissionerate set up in 1989.

City Police Commissioner M.A. Saleem took a salute at the special parade held at the City Armed Reserve (CAR) Grounds. About 135 officers and 995 personnel from various wings of the police force including armed police, dog squad, women’s police and traffic police participated in the parade.

A total of 70 cash awards were given away to officers and personnel for their exemplary duty during the year 2014.
