Lokayukta investigations have proved the allegations relating to irregularities that took place in the Robertsonpet (KGF) city municipal council (CMC) two decades ago and the Lokayukta has ordered action against the officers found guilty.

The then KGF MLA S. Rajendran has petitioned the State government and the Lokayukta about the irregularities and submitted documents. The complaint was related to loss of revenue to the CMC due to illegal sanction of land and illegal khatas to several persons.

The Lokayukta had appointed an investigation officer and based on the report submitted by the officer, Lokayukta Justice P. Vishwanatha Shetty has ordered issue of notice to recover the amount from the officials involved in the scandal.
