IIMB director’s term ends

Pankaj Chandra, Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB), has stepped down from his post, with his extended term coming to an end on Tuesday.

A communiqué from the institute said that Devanath Tirupati, Dean, Academics, will take charge till further order from the chairman and Board of Governors of IIMB. Prof. Tirupati has a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Calcutta, and a Ph.D from MIT Sloan School of Management.
