A car parked in Jayanagar in Hassan was set on fire by unknown persons on Sunday night.
Shankar, who is contesting for a seat in Kundragundi Gram Panchayat in Hassan taluk, had parked his car outside his house in Jayanagar. On Monday morning, he found a portion of the car burnt. He suspected that personal differences in connection with the elections may have been the cause for the incident. He has filed a complaint with the Hassan Extension police.
