Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court D.H. Waghela on Sunday praised the State government for providing good infrastructure for the courts in the State.

Speaking at a function to inaugurate the new court complex in Moodbidri, Mr. Waghela said he was impressed with the good facilities for courts in Karnataka. “There are very few district courts in the county that have better facilities than the one seen here.”

This investment, Mr. Waghela said, could be put to good use if the litigant gets “real justice in a real time”. Terming pendency of litigation as the real punishment, he asked advocates and judicial officers to set a new benchmark of quality and delivery of justice. “People should be attracted to courts to get justice in a good time and at a minimal cost.”
