The Karnataka Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) has earning the prestigious accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) recently.
This is in addition to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) granting it autonomous status for all its B.E., M.Tech., MBA and MCA programmes from 2015-16.
KLS Chairman, M.R. Kulkarni, who announced this here on Friday, said that GIT is also the first such engineering college in North Karnataka to be considered for the NBA accreditation. Highlighting the achievements of GIT and advantages of NBA accreditation, GIT principal, A.S. Deshpande, said that it was the nearly three-year long effort of GIT which eventually won it the prestigious recognition from NBA.
