The Congress had released a DVD about three months ago on the purported conversation between Mr. Yeddyurappa and Mr. Ananth Kumar in which they refer to their own allegations of a ₹1,000 crore bribe paid by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to his party high command as well as his statement that they (BJP) too had made payments to their high command when the BJP was in power in Karnataka.
The BJP leaders had then alleged that the contents of the DVD had been edited to give an impression that they had made payments to their high command. Meanwhile, the DVD had been referred to the FSL for voice analysis after a case in this regard had been filed with the Cyber crime police.
