The police said that the lorry was carrying sheets of plywood.

Due to the impact of the crash, some plywood sheets fell onto the car.

The lorry driver and cleaner escaped unharmed, the police said.

The police suspected that the lorry driver could have lost control of the vehicle and hit the car.

The Chickballapur traffic police have registered a case against the lorry driver, Yadayya, who is said to be absconding. Further investigation is on.
