Four persons were killed and three others injured when a four-wheeler rammed into a private bus near Hulidevarabana village in Sagar taluk on Saturday.
Santosh, a resident of Hubli city, his wife Bindu, and daughter Sadhika are the deceased. The identity of another deceased is yet to be ascertained. All the victims were travelling in the four-wheeler. They were heading towards Sigandur from Hubli. The police have said that the accident occurred when the driver of the four-wheeler tried to overtake the private bus. Further details are awaited.
