A flower vendor has reportedly murdered his wife and then committed suicide by hanging himself at Pavan Colony in Kalyan Nagar here on Thursday. The police said Rajshekhar Huligeppanavar (45) murdered his wife Surekha (35) by assaulting her with lethal weapons after a brawl.
After killing her, he reportedly threw the body out of the house and then killed himself. The police said Rajshekhar was a drunkard and used to pick up fights with his wife every night and beat her up. Thursday’s brawl turned out to be fatal for the couple. The Vidyagiri police have registered a case.
