Flex boards of Ministers all over Gulbarga

May 25, 2013 12:35 pm | Updated 02:25 pm IST - GULBARGA:

City corporation seems to have turned a blind eye to this

Back to Business: With the Election Commission's model code of conduct out of the way, it is back to normal business by the political parties putting up the flex boards containing the huge pictures of their leaders in every available place in the public places.

Huge cut-outs and posters of political leaders have come up in various parts of the city, and all this has been done without permission from the authorities.

For the past two days, Congress workers were busy putting up huge flex boards with pictures of the newly inducted Ministers from Gulbarga all over the city, particularly on the main road connecting the Gulbarga Railway Station and the supermarket, which is one of the busiest stretches in the city. Every available space on the road — be it on the lamp posts or the walls of government buildings — has posters of Municipal Administration Minister Qamar-ul Islam and Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, both of whom will arrive here on Saturday.

The city corporation seems to have turned a blind eye to this.
