A first information report (FIR) has been lodged against Naresh, the former Planning Manager of Nirmithi Kendra (Mandya), in connection with alleged irregularities in the utilisation of funds under several schemes since 2009.
R. Jagadeesh, present Planning Manager of Nirmithi Kendra, on Friday filed the FIR against Mr. Naresh alleging that he had misused the funds released for taking up various development projects. The kendra had been entrusted with some projects across the district. However, alleged financial irregularities were found in some of the schemes taken up in Hale Budhanur and Nagamangala during since 2009, Mr. Jagadeesh reportedly told the police.
